Other fund raising events that have taken place in Georgia as fund raisers have netted tens of thousand of dollars in donations. The Flint River Boy Scout Council sponsors an annual event which has proven to be extremely successful in raising money.

The Annual Quail Unlimited/ Bass Pro Shop an annual event in Dublin, Georgia attracts over 400 shooters from all over the USA. This event also has major sponsors and once again raises a substantial amount of money for “Quail Unlimited.”

What it takes to make “Shrine Sporting Clays For Kids” a success

  • Finding Sponsors
  • Finding Individual Shooters
  • Volunteers
  • It Takes A Minimum Of 35 Shriners To Man The Various Shooting Stations
  • Volunteers Preparing Food and Entertainment
  • Registration and Scoring
  • Coordinating All Activities At The Shoots
  • Preparing Brochures and Printed Material
  • Publicity and Advertising
  • Administrative, Secretary, Treasurer

The annual dues to be a member of Shrine Sporting Clays for Kids is $25.00, this membership fee will be waived if you attend our meetings or become an active supporter by coming out to our annual event. There are no annual dues if you become an active member. So you have a great opportunity to be a very active Noble in a great cause without it costing you anything. Our goal is to raise funds from other than selling tickets to one another or selling events to one and another.

To make this concept more appealing to each one of us it is proposed that meetings will be held at different Sporting Clays Parks in Georgia, while participating in shooting at that venue.

The monthly meeting of the Shrine Sporting Clays is the second Monday of the month at 6:00 PM at the Activities Building. Refreshments will be served.
